Dr. Corentine Ako, MD
Hello, I am a Board-certified Family Medicine Physician in Texas with over 20 years of experience. My medical expertise spans from primary care clinic to hospital medicine for about a decade, during which time I spent multiple years taking care of patients in a SNF, Rehab, LTAC, Inpatient psychiatry facility. I am an educator as well. I was honored to be involved in educating medical students from the University of North Texas–Fort Worth as an Adjunct Associate Professor of Hospital Medicine faculty at Methodist San Jacinto Hospital. I am also a Telemedicine physician with over eight years of experience in virtual urgent-care and virtual primary-care medicine. I have taken care of over sixty thousand virtual patients to date.

My Mission and Values
Dr. Ako’s mission is twofold:

My Story
I created this website as part of my mission to give back to other providers who may be where I once was and are needing some guidance, are needing a mentor. The other part of my mission is to give back to my patients and other patients who may never meet me in person but could use my knowledge, guidance and expertise. I have always wanted to be an author. I wrote little composition book stories as a child. I would staple them and share them with my friends and family.
I am moving into this next phase of my career. To that regard, I have 2 upcoming books, one for physicians and providers and the other for patients. I will also be creating other educational products such as courses and digital guides and will make myself available for coaching sessions.
